Hermetic, abyssal black/funeral doom from Australia. I was already hooked on Elysian Blaze when Mutatiis released the Levitating the Carnal album in 2006. However, Blood Geometry takes the concept to another level during more than 2 hours. It's an otherworldly voyage and when you manage to really permeate the essence of the album, you realize that it must have been a really complicated and exhausting album to write and record. 

Besides the incredible atmosphere, I have a personal relationship to this album as Mutatiis, Elysian Blaze only member, gave me the go-ahead to release the album back in 2012. However, 2 weeks later, he emailed me, all sorry, to tell me he would rather do the album with Osmose Productions. No bad blood, I was disappointed, true, but if I had a band, I would have made the same choice. It’s a real pleasure to present this incredible album with what I believe to be an enhanced compact disc presentation. It deserves no less. Total darkness.
